The
VIBRO saw works according to the electromagnetic induction principle: the basis
for this is the alternating current with 50 Herz. So there are no
wear-sensitive rotating parts such as motor, eccentric, etc. The saw is made of
die-cast aluminum. The actual heart of the saw, the magnet, is located under
the saw table. Sturdy brackets hold the oscillating plate above it. The lower
holder for the saw blade is also attached to this oscillating plate. In time with
the AC frequency, this plate now vibrates and rhythmically pulls the saw blade
downward. At the top, the saw blade is attached to a spring (strong leaf
spring), the effect of which can be damped by means of a counterweight. This
therefore regulates the stroke, depending on the material and material
thickness. This stroke is adjustable from 5 to 10 mm. The machine stands on
three soft rubber feet, which give it a non-slip grip to dampen the working
noise, which is not loud anyway.
Working
with this saw is completely safe, you can touch the swinging blade without
thinking! At the same time, however, the saw blade cuts through wood, plastic
and metal in no time. But the most concise advantage of this saw is the
straight cut and curve behavior. The saw blade (normal fret saw blades) is so
stable when saying that even extreme radii can be cut cleanly. The blade does
not deviate a millimeter from the desired course.
Changing
the saw blade is very easy; you proceed as with the good old scroll saw - they
are available for wood, plastic and metal, in any model store or hardware store.
About
the sawing performance: the VIBRO saw manages 6 to 7 mm of normal wood, soft
woods up to 20 mm. Plastic up to 10 mm. The VI BRO does not stop at metal either:
brass sheet 2 to 3 mm thick falls victim to the saw blade just as quickly as 5
mm aluminum.
CONCLUSION:
What you had to do by hand in the past, the VIBRO does in no time at all -
without effort and without sweat.
