The characteristic appearance of the
turbine-powered propeller aircraft with short take-off and landing capabilities
(STOL) was the reason for the replica. With little effort you get an impressive
aircraft that can be easily controlled even by advanced beginners. The boxed fuselage
of the Dornier 228 promises resource-saving use of materials.
The enclosed construction plan was
published in FMT 11 + 12/2023.
The Styrofoam parts set includes
wing cores, engine nacelles and landing gear panels made of Styrofoam for the
construction of the Dornier 228. Fuselage and tail unit parts are not included.
As mentioned in the report, these can be made very easily yourself.
