Construction plan Elektro-Brettchen

Jonas Kessler's „Elektro-Brettchen“ is a revised version of Chuck Clemans' „Little Plank“ published in 1971 and was created in close cooperation between the two designers. In 1973, the blueprint spread throughout Europe – for the 50th anniversary, the new Elektro-Brettchen in a modern design for current RC equipment is now being released.

The enclosed construction plan was published in FMT 06/2023.

The construction plan print is delivered from the publisher (in contrast to the supplement construction plan) printed on one side and undivided on white paper. The delivery includes the building description.

The Elektro-Brettchen is simply constructed and, despite its simple design, very versatile. The construction is made of wood and is very easy to do with the help of our parts set. The model can be set up as a pure glider for slopes or with an electric drive for flat terrain. The floor acrobatics is one of the parade disciplines. Everything at eye level: low flybys, tight turns, rolls and loops - no corner of the mouth stays down. The best thing about the Elektro-Brettchen is its ability to display every little air movement immediately: sometimes a surface rises (there is thermals on this side), sometimes the board accelerates (here there is only downdraft) or suddenly brakes (here is updraft). If the pilot has observed his model closely and learned to counteract sensitively, then the little Brettchen becomes the perfect device for finding thermals: it practically always finds updraft and centers itself in the thermal once you have steered it into it.
