Depron-Bausatz Space Patrol X-III

What kind of propulsion system is in there? There is no propeller to be seen, nor are there any air intakes for an impeller. And what are those little tubes at the back for? Is that supposed to fly? It does – and very well at that. Jürgen Bestenlehner was inspired by pictures of old tin toys and designed an extraordinary Depron model. He uses a 40 mm impeller as the drive, which gets its air through the large cockpit opening. The model is constructed entirely from Depron, supplemented by 3D-printed parts for the 1-in-7 thrust tube, the pointed nose and the tip tanks.
