Depron kit Beech Bonetty

Anyone who Fatty model for the first time immediately has a grin on their face. Many people are surprised that these are Depron models, because the shapes of the Fatty models are anything but simple box hulls. Rather, they are fascinatingly round and inflated in comic style. This is particularly striking in the beautiful Beech Bonetty V35F. It is a fact, you can't get them ready-made, you have to build them yourself. Despite the round, knobbly shape, this is quite easy - provided you have a little skill in working with Depron. If you also use the FMT kit, all the material you need for the body shell is already available. And if you then follow the builder's recommendations for the rc accessories and settings you have the basis for unadulterated flying fun. Despite, or rather, thanks to the simple KF profile (according to Kline Fogleman), the flight performance of the Beech Bonetty are impressive. With the specified forward centre of gravity and the recommended rudder deflections, the model is on the good-natured side, you have to provoke a stall. Nevertheless, this Fatty aerobatic: rolls, loops and turns are no problem.

The detailed instructions accompanying the building plan provide numerous tips on processing Depron and painting the model. So get to work: everyone should have a Fatty in the hangar. The insert plan was published in FMT 05/2025.

The Depron kit contains all the necessary components made of Depron and plywood. In addition, canopy, CFRP profiles, spring steel wire and linkage accessories as well as small parts are included. RC components, adhesives and film or paint are also required.
