Bauplan tRoll
- Construction: Jochen Zimmermann, 2025
- smaller version based on the well-known Rieskobold
- extraordinary geodesic, outwardly fanned wing and tailplane construction
- easy and agile to fly
- Construction plan insert FMT 07/ and 08/2025
The design of the tRoll impresses with its unusual, geodesic, outwardly fanned wing and tail unit construction. Visually reminiscent of its great role model, the Rieskobold, the tRoll also adopts its impressive appearance - on the ground and in the air. Nevertheless, the tRoll is not a scaled-down copy - it is an independent design and differs from the large Rieskobold in many ways. The compact size with a wingspan of 1500 mm facilitates transport and handling and, in conjunction with the ailerons, gives the model a high degree of agility without compromising its thermal and slow flight characteristics. The tRoll also breaks new ground in terms of construction: the fuselage is built in next to no time with the help of a simple slipway. The wing is made in one piece and is attached and secured to the fuselage with a single click without the need for tools. The lightweight and inexpensive drive enables powerful climbing flights when searching for thermals or as a homecoming aid on a hillside. There is no doubt that the tRoll is an exceptional and impressive model with outstanding flight characteristics.
