- Construction plan insert FMT 12/2024 and 01/2025
The idea for this Beech 18 came about after a survey in the RC-Network forum. When asked for a favourite model for an FMT supplement plan, there were a large number of suggestions. Twin-engine models were often mentioned and the Beech 18 was named several times. Despite the many individual parts, the construction of the model is kept as simple as possible. The Beech consists of a box fuselage with a flat tailplane, a simple ribbed wing and attached engine nacelles. The plan shows many options for realising different versions of the Beech 18. So there are no limits to your own ideas. With a wingspan of 1,810 mm, the model is still quite compact and can be equipped with inexpensive 3s propulsion systems. Nevertheless, the Beech has an impressive appearance in the air and is also quite easy to fly. In addition to the construction plan, DXF and STL files are offered, which allow the components to be produced and printed in your own workshop or by a service provider, thus shortening the building time. The construction plan is included with issues 12.2024 and 01.2025.
The printed construction plan is supplied by the publisher (in contrast to the insert construction plan) printed on one side on white paper. Individual elements are also shown in color. The delivery includes building instructions.
