The Barny is a compact and agile glider with a wingspan of 1.5 metres. It can be built with only ailerons and elevators, but can also be equipped with flaps and a linked rudder. The flaps are operated by a single servo and, in addition to enabling more precise landings, allow the entire trailing edge of the wing to be curved, resulting in even better thermal performance. The special features of this model are the concealed elevator linkage in the tailplane and the removable elevator for space-saving transport. The Barny is a clever design, quite easy to build and guaranteed to give the builder lots of flying fun.
