Rolf
Fritschi has created a reference in scale model building with his Fokker D.VII.
Based on the plans of numerous draughtsmen and original archive documents,
Rolf's design and the model represent the state of the last examples of the
D.VII built by Comte on Lake Zurich. Wherever possible, the original materials
were used for the model. The aerodynamic design also corresponds to the
original documentation, right down to the bracing.
The
complete design documentation of the Fokker D.VII in the form of 3D CAD-data in
STEP and original Fusion 360 format opens up completely new possibilities for
the ambitious model builder. The design is created on a scale of 1:3 - the data
can be scaled without having to change the construction method. The data
structure also enables the derivation of milling or laser data as well as mesh
data for 3D printing programs. The data package already contains 30 2D
derivations in DXF-format and STL print data. The data set is supplemented with
PDF overview drawings of the assemblies and a 23-page construction description
with helpful tips and informative detailed images.
The
download package Art.No.: 7337 includes the construction drawing of the Fokker
D.VII in the form of three 3D CAD files in STEP and original Fusion format as
well as 31 2D derivations in DXF/DWG and PDF format and the 23 page
construction description. Data volume: 936 MB
Art. no. 7338 also contains the digital construction plan data.
In
the print option Art.No.: 3201568 the data package is also available with new
additional 1:1 printouts of the views of the fuselage and wings. Format:
single-sided on white paper, 900× up to 2.500 mm
Studying
the construction alone is a treasure trove for scale enthusiasts! The data
package provides model builders interested in replicating the model with a
sound basis for a unique building experience.
